Every preschool teacher knows the feeling.
You find a great activity idea… but it takes hours of searching, organizing, and adapting materials before it actually works in a real classroom.
Over the years, I’ve created hundreds of resources for my own Pre-K classroom while teaching early childhood special education. Many of those materials eventually became products in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
But some of my favorite tools?
Those are the free resources I share in my Google Resource Hub.
Inside the hub you’ll find ready-to-use materials designed for busy preschool and Pre-K teachers, especially those supporting students with diverse learning needs.

What Is the Google Resource Hub?
The Google Resource Hub is a growing library of free teaching tools designed to support early learning in preschool and Pre-K classrooms.
Many of these resources were originally created for:
Early childhood special education classrooms
Pre-K teachers looking for visual supports
Small group literacy and math instruction
Movement-based learning activities
Outdoor learning and nature exploration
Each resource is something I’ve either used in my own classroom or created to support teachers like you.
Think of it as a toolbox for building engaging early learning routines.
What You’ll Find Inside the Resource Hub
Here are some of the types of resources currently included.
Adapted Books and Literacy Activities
Adapted books are one of my favorite tools for supporting language development in young learners.
Inside the hub you’ll find examples and printable supports that help students:
build vocabulary
practice sentence patterns
answer simple comprehension questions
participate during shared reading
These supports are especially helpful for students who benefit from visual structure and repetition.
You can explore full adapted book sets in my store like:

Visual supports help children understand routines, expectations, and learning activities.
Some of the resources in the hub include:
classroom visuals

movement prompts
simple visual communication tools
These visuals help make learning more accessible for students who benefit from predictability and structure.
Nursery Rhyme Literacy Activities
Nursery rhymes are one of the most powerful ways to build early literacy skills.
Inside the hub you’ll find resources connected to rhymes like:
Humpty Dumpty
Jack and Jill
Itsy Bitsy Spider
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
These activities help children practice:
rhyming
phonemic awareness
rhythm and repetition
movement with language
Outdoor Learning Activities
One of my favorite ways to teach young learners is through movement and outdoor exploration.
In the hub you’ll find activities connected to nature play and outdoor learning including ideas inspired by classroom favorites like:
Bear Hunt activities
nature scavenger hunts
outdoor movement games
seasonal exploration
These activities help children build:
language skills
problem solving
social interaction
curiosity about the natural world
Many of these ideas grew out of our class trips to local forest preserves and outdoor learning days.
Why I Created the Resource Hub
After more than 20 years teaching early childhood special education, I’ve learned something important:
Teachers don’t need more complicated systems.
They need simple tools that work with real students.
The resources inside this hub are designed to help teachers:
✔ save planning time
✔ support diverse learners
✔ add movement and engagement
✔ build early literacy skills
✔ create structured classroom routines
Many of these tools started as quick solutions for my own classroom, and they’ve grown into resources used by teachers across many classrooms.
